Waiting for clients char study

I remember waiting for some clients one day at Curious Pictures. Drew this little guy. A fond memory as it was the first time I ever attempted to draw a figure at work. I sat next to the art director and he was more than a little intimidating with his awesome drawing skills!

Check it. This was going to be the graphic at the top of the blog. Didn't make the grade. Fun painting it though. Love the quiet afternoons drawing.

Love cartoons. Road Runner and Wile E Coyote are burned into my youth. Curious too see if I could make a cartoon style cliff.

Couple of cloud studios from ages back. Was trying iconisize photos I thought were pretty. Figure out what I thought was so pretty about them.

The apple of new beginnings.

Two years huh? How long would you wait for a dream? I've been drawing here and there. Since 2009 did not manage to draw everyday...or even very much at all. Living in London now, and the new studio is every thing I hoped it would be. Amazing people, amazing, work, and importantly a slightly more ballanced work life ratio. For better or worse is seemed time to start posting.
This is a quick study of an apple. The currently goal will to be updates once a week. But since there are a few in the que, there might be a bunch all at once. The dream is of course to someday be able to draw as well as the pixar color or mood boards. Working in the VFX business, I am always drawn to concept art, and there will be no peace it seems till I learn how to make illustrations also:)
